Thanks to Tara, I now have a blog post to write that is pretty easy
The Rules:
- Link to your original tagger and list these rules in your post.
- Share seven facts about yourself in the post.
- Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names and the links to their blogs.
- Let them know they’ve been tagged.
My seven things:
- I learned American Sign Language (ASL) during my stay at RIT and NTID. Since I started learning ASL at RIT, it’s been a big passion of mine (though I haven’t used it in a while). It’s a beautiful language and Deaf culture is incredibly vibrant and connected. After having a deaf boss for a few months I was almost fluent.
- I’m a foodie and wino. I love fine food and wine. Especially Petit Syrah and Late Harvest Rieslings. Sarah and I have started attending dinners at a local winery and we’re addicted!
- I didn’t learn to program until college. I had always been into computers, but never got into programming. Luckily I didn’t find it too hard and picked it up quickly.
- I have a creative side. Guitar, writing and photography are/were hobbies of mine. One of these days I need to buy a nice DSLR and get back into photography.
- I have a voracious appetite for knowledge. I grew up reading books constantly. During breakfast, on the bus, when I got home, before bed. I get bored very easily if I’m not reading, learning or doing something new or challenging. I’m always reading, usually a book or two a month.
- I am deathly allergic to kiwi. I got it from my mom. I’m also allergic to Tide and Herbal Essences shampoo. WTF.
- I loathe Airborne. I think it’s the biggest mass-marketed crock of shit I’ve ever seen. A complete bunch of BS wrapped up in a box. Wikipedia has a good article about Airborne and its false claims.
Now I have to tag some people: Sarah, Mary, Mike, Brock, Jeff, Wil and Justin.
