Today we launched a brand-spankin’ new version of Yahoo! Messenger! Woohoo! And yours truly had a small part in adding some Flickr goodness.
You can now share your Flickr photos directly in Yahoo! Messenger, pretty sweet! The Flickr Picker (try saying that 3 times fast) allows you to search by tags or select a photoset. You can view thumbnails and small previews with the image title and date uploaded. Another cool feature is you can also save photos shared during your photosharing session to Flickr.
Even though the picker lives inside a regular client, it’s actually a mini AJAX application.
