Well, this is my first post to my new blog. I figured that I seem to have two general topics that I write about in my LJ, and I’d like to split them apart. My blog here will be reserved for more technical, social and political commentary and ranting while my LJ will be for more emo and personal stuff.
I now have my own domain: www.ryandoherty.net, which is managed by www.godaddy.com. They are awesome. A few days after I bought the domain through them, they called me just to make sure that everything was working and I was happy with their service. The guy I talked to was friendly and knew his stuff. I highly recommend them for domain registration. I’m probably going to move my blog over to their hosting soon and put up a professional site for my portfolio and resume. Right now I’m using domain masking, which I found out is nothing more than HTML frames, hehe.
Come back soon! I’ll have something more substantial in the next few days or weeks, right now it’s week 10, so things are crazy!
